HengTime is a privately owned Chinese company with European management.
We are a registered company in Hong Kong with administration and R&D based there. Our operational headquarter is in Shenzhen and we maintain additional subsidiaries in Guangzhou, and Dongguan.
The Shenzhen facility is located centrally close to Shenzhen and Hong Kong airports, to Shenzhen Shekou, Yantian and Hong Kong Container terminals.

From the first drafts of a new design idea to the bulk production of any standard product we never lose focus on our 100% quality target.
Established protocols with recurrent, strict and thorough quality control steps, a stable and motivated workforce, the sole utilization of high quality raw materials for casings and interior, strict quality monitoring of all suppliers of raw materials and sourced project dependent accessories are only some factors determining our product quality level.

Clean Products
We exclusively use top-grade virgin raw plastic materials from internationally renowned companies. All materials are tested and certified free of toxic substances according to REACH, RoHS (“RoHS3 compliant without exemptions”), and other standards.
FDA approved raw materials are also available for all products. Accordingly all additional substances used during the production, like oils, releasing agents, and others are FDA food grade certified.

Materials
Plastic materials for high quality products are petro-chemicals, but
we are absolutely convinced that plastics are irreplacable in many serious applications including hardcases for stable protective packaging.
In a smart way our products are perfectly fit for, and contribute to Circular Economy, by delivering lasting products with a long useful life made from 100% recycleable raw materials.
Accordingly our internal recycling rate is close to 100%. Waste material or parts which do not pass our strict quality control are channeled into material specific recycling networks and will be used for other products.
We at HengTime understand the importance of saving natural ressources wherever possible and due to modern machinery and strict protocols we are able to reduce material waste to a minimum.

Recycled Raw Materials
While we are recyling all our plastic waste 100%, we are reluctant to use recycled raw materials. Post-consumer recyclate (PCR), often re-used plastics, are not completly mono-material and impurities of other plastics modify technical properties unpredictably.
Importantly, recycled materials may lack the suitable purity for food-contact applications, which is our “golden standard”.
For technically less critical components, like shipping pallets or bags, we are using exclusively recyled materials, and all paper materials we use are coming from sustainable sources.

”Bioplastics / Biodegradable Plastics”
Unfortunately - as of today - Bioplastics made in whole or in part from plant-derived renewable resources do not yet deliver the technical properties we need for our professional high-quality products.
Biodegradable Plastics would decompose under certain conditions, leaving behind essentially nothing but CO2 and water as they break down, are a great concept for disposable products and have found a growing number of applications.
We are testing new Bioplastics, and hope that we can replace at least some of our petrochemicals in the future.

Water & Energy
Clean water is for the majority of humanity still luxury. We use cooling water in the plastic injection molding process.
With state-of-the-art machinery and efficient processes we not only recycle this cooling water close to 100%, but we have also been very successful in reducing our overall electricity consumption each year, while our production output has grown massively.
